Umezu Kazutoki, KIKI BAND
Multi-talented wind player Kazutoki Umezu and his acclaimed group Kazutoki Umezu KIKI BAND from Tokyo are coming to perform music from their new album due to be released this October. Synthesizing genres including Jazz-Rock, Prog Rock, Rock’n’Roll and World Music, the Kazutoki Umezu KIKI BAND have been exploring the cutting edge of cross-genre jazz for over twenty years. With Kazutoki Umezu on saxophone/clarinet, Natsuki Kido on guitar, Takeharu Hayakawa on bass guitar and Joe Trump on drums.
This concert is also part of Aberdeen’s Sound Festival.
