This new Scottish Jazz/Soul/Spiritual ensemble from the minds of Marco Cafolla and Konrad Wiszniewski draws from an inner journey of discovery. Signed to the legendary Acid Jazz Records, the band’s debut album The Summoned has influences from John & Alice Coltrane, Nina Simone, McCoy Tyner and Miles Davis to Kamasi Washington, Erykah Badu and Robert Glasper. Mama Terra will take you through this journey together with them, connecting through their music and love, with an energy that can only be experienced live.
This concert will be preceded by a supporting set from Jazz at the Bluelamp’s very own Youth Combo – bringing together the best of the local up & coming young jazz musicians.
